Introduction

On behalf of all the children, staff and governors may I welcome you to Dedworth Green First School website.

The school is located on the western edge of Windsor and was built in 1952 to serve new housing being built in the area. We currently have around 160 children on roll from Nursery through to Year 4 and a staff team of 30 adults. Our website aims to give you helpful information about our vision and values, important information about DGFS and our general organisation and the latest news whilst providing you with an insight into the varied opportunities that are available to our children at Dedworth Green First School.

Our main aim is to provide high quality teaching and learning and to improve the enjoyment and education of all the children in our care so that they can fulfil their potential and REACH for the stars.

Our friendly staff team is committed to providing a secure, safe and happy environment in which all children are able to thrive socially, emotionally and academically. This is built on the strong relationships fostered by all members of the school community. Our children are highly motivated, well behaved and truly delightful to teach.
