No Recording Statement
To protect the privacy, dignity, and wellbeing of all members of our school community, any audio or video recording - both covert and overt - including via mobile phones, tablets, laptops, or wearable technology, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Headteacher.
This policy applies to students, parents, visitors, and staff. It applies, but is not limited to, all lessons, virtual and in-person meetings, telephone calls and school events, save for authorised exceptions for educational or safeguarding purposes. Sharing unauthorised recordings on social media or other platforms is also strictly prohibited.
Unauthorised recording can undermine trust, breach confidentiality, and may contravene data protection laws. Any breach of this policy statement will be addressed in line with school procedures and may result in further legal action where appropriate.
