On behalf of all the children, staff and governors may I welcome you to Dedworth Green First School website. The school is located on the western edge of Windsor and was built in 1952 to serve new housing being built in the area. We currently have around 160 children on roll from Nursery through to Year 4 and a staff team of 30 adults. Our website aims to give you helpful information about our vision and values, important information about DGFS and our general organisation and the latest news whilst providing you with an insight into the varied opportunities that are available to our children at Dedworth Green First School.

Year 4 Trip to the British MuseumYear 4 had a fantastic time at the British Museum to finish their topic on Ancient Egypt. The children loved all the different exhibits and seeing items and objects that they had learnt about in real life. The children behaved beautifully throughout, demonstrating our school expectations and values brilliantly.

Christmas Celebration!What a wonderful way to end the week! The children performed beautiful and got all of our staff and families truly in the Christmas mood!

Lanternfest 2024!The children enjoyed performing during our annual Lanternfest this afternoon - it was lovely to see so many families attend and join in the celebration!
